The kids love to watch "Halloween Wars" on the Food Network. So it was only fitting that we (minus Steve...somebody needs to work around this place!) spent our Columbus Day at home creating edible art. We carved pumpkins a couple of weeks ago (and already tossed them because they were rotting...early bird gets the worm though), so J suggested we use just food items for today's creation. His list of needed supplies was lengthy, so we had to keep things within reason.
We had such a fun time creating our spooky scene. J and E both had some pretty interesting stories to go with their masterpieces. I'm not sure when it happened (probably when we let them watch Gremlins last year), but we're apparently past the cutesy stuff and into the gory, creepy Halloween phase now.
Proceed if you dare!

Spooks!

Your day was WAY more fun than mine! Good work J and E!
Fun!
Those are so cool....and CREEPY!! Way to go!
So cool! Our pumpkin is still sitting on the dining table, unscathed. If I could have 1/10th of your creativity, my kids would think I rock!
