Safety

As I parent, I frequently find myself having safety related talks with J and E.  From fires to strangers to on-line creeps to bike helmets to monkey bars to crossing the street, kids these days never get a break from safety discussions.

 Here's a conversation I found myself in this morning...

Me:  So what would you say if somebody tried to touch your private parts like your vagina?

E:  I don't know.

Me:  Maybe you could say something like "Get your hands off me!"

E:  Or maybe something like "You have your own privates.  Go touch your own privates!"

Me:  Ya, that might work too.
