Another Life Lesson

 

A certain somebody has been really struggling with kindness, respect, and attitude lately.  It seems like we've been talking constantly about these concepts, and yesterday I had to dole out some pretty hefty consequences.  J lost all screen time for three days AND had the pleasure of cleaning all three bathrooms by himself. 

 

At the end of the day, he went to brush his teeth.  His voice was filled with alarm when he summoned me to the bathroom.  The bathroom countertop was splattered with blue soap and the hand towel was wadded up in a ball. 

 

J:  Mom, look at this!  All of my hard work, and the bathroom looks like this!
